From the corporation…

We have very recently received a letter from Shirley Trumper, our Cathedral Office Manager, indicating that she would like to retire as of March 31, 2011.  It is with a deep sense of sadness, along with our sincere thanks to God for her work and ministry in the parish, that we accept Shirley’s decision to retire.  She has been a devoted member of our staff, and has given tirelessly of her time, talent and treasure to advance the mission of Christ in and through St. John’s. We will be informing the parish early in the new year about plans to honour Shirley, as well as developments concerning the position of the Office Manager.

stewardship…

“May the Lord come in; he is king of Glory”, says the psalmist. Christmas is less than one week away.
